The selection of the boiler is a minor part of the planning process. Every stage in the process – the construction, building work, chip delivery, storage and feed methods – needs to be carefully thought through and planned to ensure reliability, longevity and a fault-free operation.

Client: Beaulieu National Motor Museum

Biomass heating system: ETA 400kW biomass system providing the base load, with the backup and peak load supplied through the combined 800kW oil boiler system.

Financial benefits: Switching from oil to biomass heat is providing significant savings on heating bills. Additionally, the income from RHI payments will pay off the capital expenditure of the system.

Environmental benefits: The museum is saving an estimated 385 tonnes of CO₂ per year!
