What is the Boiler Upgrade Scheme?

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) will support the decarbonisation of buildings. It will provide upfront capital grants to support the installation of heat pumps, and in some circumstances biomass boilers, in homes and some non-domestic buildings. The scheme will be open to properties located in England and Wales.

To be eligible for biomass, the property needs to be off the gas grid.

This scheme will pay £5000 towards the installation costs of a biomass system, and £6000 towards a GSHP, which combined with the zero VAT rating does mean the capital costs between renewables and traditional fossil fuel heating systems are reduced.

We have MCS accreditation in place and are registered on the scheme to be able to receive the vouchers, so please get in touch to see how we can reduce your heating costs with environmentally friendly efficient systems.
