Sneak Peak: Stages of a Biomass Installation
Switching from oil, gas or LPG to biomass is easier than you may think. There are many considerations involved but our team of dedicated engineers will be with you every step of the way!
The selection of the boiler is a minor part of the planning process. Every stage in the process – the construction, building work, chip delivery, storage and feed methods - needs to be carefully thought through and planned to ensure reliability, longevity and a fault-free operation.
Below is a short and sweet video of the different stages in a biomass installation.
Client: Beaulieu National Motor Museum
Biomass heating system: ETA 400kW biomass system providing the base load, with the backup and peak load supplied through the combined 800kW oil boiler system.
Financial benefits: Switching from oil to biomass heat is providing significant savings on heating bills. Additionally, the income from RHI payments will pay off the capital expenditure of the system.
Environmental benefits: The museum is saving an estimated 385 tonnes of CO₂ per year!
